The count down to camp has started. We are very much looking forward to all of the fun activities at camp!
Camp information: please refer to the list on the camp form for a comprehensive list of things to pack. Don't forget that lollies and any electronic devices will NOT be allowed on camp. We will meet at 6:45am at the Bayview Tennis Club on Wednesday 25 September, which is located on Pittwater rd (across from King Edward Ave). Students will need to bring a packed morning tea and lunch for Wednesday.
Here are some photos from our debating workshop at Dee Why. This was a fantastic day for all as we learned more aspects of a successful debate. It was also very pleasing to hear such positive feedback from Mr Smith, the event organiser. He wrote an email to Mrs Bennett to pass on his highest compliments for the behaviour of the Bayview students in particular. This just highlights the hardworking diligent students of 4MB.
Here are some photos from Science this week. We had a Forensic Science incursion where students had to investigate and solve a mystery of a missing boy. They had to use their noticing skills to investigate this mystery! We also designed a plan to help the Northern Beaches Council to the weathering and erosion problem that is currently occuring along the northern beaches. Here are their soil moisture detecting systems that alerts us when their soil is too dry or too wet.
