Scholastic Book orders closing soon!

Dear Parents,


Your child should have brought home a new Scholastic Book Club order booklet. Each booklet contains the entire range of books available which enables you to purchase for all ages, siblings, relatives or gifts for friends.

You order online using LOOP – and DON’T need to return any paperwork to school!

When asked for the school name enter “St Luke’s Grammar School” and it will come up with the Bayview option.

Purchases will come home with your child when they are delivered to the school.

Last date for this month’s orders is Sunday 19 May.

Royal Botanic Gardens Excursion Photos

Dear Parents,
Here are some photos of our excursion that we had last week to the Royal Botanic Gardens. It was an extremely informative event where students learned from local Aboriginals themselves on how they use plants for food, medicine, tools and weapons.

Excursion tomorrow at the Royal Botanic Gardens

Dear Parents,
Just a reminder that we have our excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens where we will learn about how the Indigenous people in the Sydney area use plants for food, medicine, tools and weapons.

The bus will leave promptly at 8:35 so please ensure that your son/daughter is here at school on time.

We plan to return by 2:30 in the afternoon.

Please have your son wear his sport uniform with white shirt. They will need to remember the following items in their excursion bag:

• packed morning tea and lunch 
• water bottle
• hat

Homework can be handed in on Friday due to the excursion. They don't need their school bag so this can be left at home.

We very much look forward to our excursion tomorrow.
